One of the things that I love most about this time of year is the welcome return of the crisp fall air. With the arrival of the cooler weather we can once again enjoy spending time on the back porch, watching college football and gathering around the table with our family and friends.
Inspired by the fall season and beautiful colors of the changing leaves I thought it would be fun to put together a tablescape for an upcoming dinner.
Whenever I create a tablescape I always try to use what I already have. The only thing I purchased for this one was the tablecloth.
Everything else might look familiar from either past seasonal tablescapes or from the fall porch tour that I recently shared.
I love the challenge of mostly using what I already have on hand while trying to make it took a little different each time.
I usually end up spending way too much time playing around with linens, dishes and decor, so I was excited by how quickly this all came together. The best part though was when my husband first saw the table and said it looked pretty and he usually doesn’t notice these things so that made me really happy.
The napkins rings were super easy to make using the card board from a paper towel roll and some ribbon. I made six of these in about 15 minutes. I love quick and inexpensive projects like these!
So, now that the table is all set I guess it’s time to start thinking about what to make for dinner!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for stopping by today!
